Haggling on The Hill: Adams Hill holds its 2008 Annual Garage Sale

garage1.jpgTalk about an organized event! Very seldom would one call a yard sale an event, but these pictures speak louder than words. I’m not saying this junk (um…I mean “stuff”) has any more value than your average yard sale, but where else can you shop, get in a good cardiac workout and walk away sore, knowing you put those calf muscles to good use.

I'm not big on finding hidden treasures at yard sales (no bumper stickers on my car that says "born to shop," unlike that jogger in the photo below), but since this one comes with a view it made a great morning stroll- met new neighbors, watched live action haggling, and enjoyed the vibe.

view1.jpgThis yard sale should have been sponsored by the American Heart Association!
